Birthplace of Subhash Chandra Bose. 

 
Netaji was born on 23 Jan 1897 in Cuttak, Orissa (today Odisha). His parents were Prabhavi Dutt(Mother) and Janakinath Bose(Father). He was born to the richest Bengali lawyer and was raised in a rich family.

Subhash Chandra Bose Childhood. 

He completed his schooling in Ravenshaw and Baptist school from 1902 – 1911. Then he did his junior college studies at Presidency College Calcutta.
 
 
 
Later on, went to a Scottish Church college where he fought with a British professor for having bad comments on Indians.
 
He was sent to the University of Cambridge by his parents to study later studies. He prepared for the civil services exam and cracked govt exam too. Later on, he resigned from it saying that he will not work under Britishers.

About his marriage:-

He married Emilie Schenkl in the year 1937. This was a secret marriage. He never acknowledges this marriage. They had children name Anita Bose.
 
His ideology was Nationalism and Communism. He also liked Fascism somewhere is mentioned in many Netaji Biography.
 

His Freedom struggle Life:-

 
Between 1920 to 1935 he was continuously involved in the Indian freedom struggle. He was Mayor of Calcutta city from Aug 1930 to April 1931.
 
In the starting days, he worked with Chitranjan Das who left Congress with Motilal Nehru to form the Swaraj party in 1922.
 
Das became his Political guru. He started his newspaper Swaraj and also edited Das’s famous newspaper Forward.
 
He got strong popularity among youths of the Country which made him President of the Indian National Congress 2 times in 1938 and 1939.
 

Conflicts with Nehru-Gandhi:-

After his freedom struggle of more than 15 years, he got to know that it is not easy to take freedom from Britishers. Also, he understood that non-violence is not the way for it.
 
He approached many congresspeople for fighting with spirit and gun. Soon he got opposed by his party people including  M.K.Gandhi. 
 
Many writers said that he was having several issues with Nehru. It is written in Netaji Biography especially those which are in Bengali.
 
Gandhiji was in favor of supporting Britishers in World War 2 which led Bose to resign from his Position and Party. Here got strong differences with Gandhiji.
 
 

New Party

He established his own party in 1939 as soon as he left Congress. The Party name was given Forward Bloc.
 

Indian National Army:-

INA was formed by Mohan Singh was later on handed to Subhash Chandra Bose in the year 1943. He became the prominent leader of INA. Subhash encouraged soldiers to fight strongly with Britishers.
 
He went to both Germany and Japan for helping INA. both country to help with soldiers and money to grow INA.
 
Both countries were against England in World war 2. Subhash united each and every enemy of Britishers.
 
He captured many parts of India in Eastern and North-Eastern India. Soon everyone thought this might be the changed and India might get freedom. 
 
  • But axis power lost against Allies and here total picture changed in India.
